Owners, drivers and captains all start here. Pick one, it takes about a minute.
Free. No fee, no commission, no card, and no account to make.
Nothing is paid through this site, so there is nothing for it to take.
A licence says you can pull the trailer. Whether you have had a
boat on it is the thing an owner most wants to know, and the one the licence does not tell them.
If you carry boats under your own authority, give us the USDOT number. We check it against the
public FMCSA record and show owners that your authority is active, one of only two things on this site
that are checked rather than taken on trust, and it is worth having.
What you can take
This is the one that saves everybody a phone call. An owner with a fourteen foot beam can see
at a glance who can take her and who cannot, and you stop fielding enquiries for boats that were never going
to fit. Leave anything blank and the listing says so rather than guessing.
Know your exact dates? Add them and owners can find you by theirs, leave them
blank and the window above is all the card shows. Everything here is your own word, shown to owners as
self-reported.
The insurance line is the first question an owner is told to ask, so a card
that already answers it gets the second phone call, not the first. Not settled, ask me
is a fine answer, it starts the right conversation.
We can check your ticket against the Coast Guard’s record and show owners
that it is current, the other of the two things here that are checked rather than taken on
trust, and the one thing that makes a listing worth more than a name. There is no field for it:
we will ask you directly, because the Coast Guard’s own tool needs your reference number and
answers by email. We do not keep the number. All that is stored is what was found and the
day it was found.
Your email and phone are never published on this site. They are used to reach you, and they reach somebody else only if you say yes to a specific request. What we keep · Terms.
We keep your name, your email, your phone if you give it, and what you have told us here, nothing else. No licence numbers, no policy numbers, no documents. Putting your name down does not commit you to anything: a driver or captain goes on the site straight away, and you get a private link to change anything or take yourself off again whenever you like.
