Who is behind this

My name is Anthony Congelos and I run Seasonal Run. I built it because I have moved my own boat on this run, and finding the right person to do it, a driver for my own rig, or a captain to take her down, was harder than the move itself.

How it works, and does not

One person, no company behind it

There are no investors and no support desk. I read every sign-up myself, I check a carrier’s USDOT number against the public federal register by hand and the card says when I did, and if something on this site is wrong I am the one who fixes it. If you would rather talk to a person before you put a boat on a truck, write to hello@seasonalrun.com, it reaches me, not a queue.

Nobody’s email or phone is published here, and no money moves through the site. An introduction is an introduction and nothing more: the rate, the deposit, the insurance and the terms are between you and whoever you hire. That is deliberate, and it is explained in full on the privacy page.
